Shuttle Request Form

Overview

The Office of Pre-College Programs provides a limited shuttle service to and from the Memphis International Airport for students participating in our summer programs. These shuttles are only available to students under 18 years of age and participating in one of our qualifying programs as listed in the online form and in accordance with the University of Mississippi's Supervisor of Minors policy.

Important Note for One-Week Summer Immersion Programs: If your student is attending a one-week summer immersion program and needs a shuttle from Memphis International Airport, please contact our program coordinator at precollege@olemiss.edu before completing this form.

If non-participating family members (18 years or older) wish to accompany the student, different arrangements must be made by the family. Our office can suggest alternative shuttle options.

Important Summer Shuttle Information:

Shuttles are available at an extra cost. Payments may be made after your request has been approved by the shuttle coordinator.
Shuttles are only provided to and from the Memphis International Airport (MEM).
Shuttles are only offered on set dates and times that correlate with our summer credit programs' move-in and move-out dates and times.
The Memphis International Airport is approximately 1.5 hours from Oxford, MS. Families will want to make the appropriate arrangements between flight times and shuttle times.
Shuttles are only available to participating students under 18 years of age.
Students must wait on the shuttle to arrive in Baggage Claim B. A summer team member will come inside the area to check-in students for the shuttle.
Shuttles must be requested a minimum of three weeks before the expected arrival or departure dates. Last minute requests within the three week window may not be honored.

Please select the applicable camp or workshop. Move-ins will occur on the Sunday before the first day of the program starting at 3:00 p.m. CST. Move-outs will occur on Fridays starting at 3:00 p.m. CST.

Shuttle Options - Summer Immersion Programs(Required)

Shuttles for one-week summer programs are operated by the Division of Outreach Transportation Services office in coordination with the Office of Pre-College Programs. When selecting/purchasing flights, we ask to arrive on Sunday between 8:00am and 12:00pm, and depart on Friday between 12:00pm and 6:00pm.

Due to the University of Mississippi's Supervision of Minors Policy, we cannot provide shuttle transportation for parents, guardians, or adult relatives, as we may be transporting other minors attending our programs. For other shuttle transportation options, please inquire at shuttle@olemiss.edu and provide the name of the program you are attending in your request.

Pre-College Programs Summer Shuttle Agreement

As the custodial parent/guardian, I acknowledge my student and me are responsible for selecting a shuttle option that is appropriate for incoming and departing flights. I understand a Pre-College Programs team member will be waiting on my student in the Baggage Claim B entrance/exit inside the Memphis International Airport by the time selected for the arrival flight shuttle. I understand if my student arrives on a flight hours before the shuttle, they will need to wait in the airport until their shuttle driver arrives. If a flight experiences a delay causing the student to miss the selected shuttle time, the student or I will contact Pre-College Programs to update them on the flight status using the emergency number provided in advance of my student's arrival. I attest that my student will be traveling without an adult (parent, guardian, or relative) and understand the Pre-College Programs shuttle is only for students under the age of 18 in accordance to the University of Mississippi Supervisor of Minors policy.
