Day Camp Summer HUB

Welcome to the University of Mississippi!

This site will serve as your central hub for all logistics information and general communications related to any of our day camp summer programs, hosted by the Office of Pre-College Programs and the Division of Outreach and Continuing Education.

Individual program logistics and information will be sent via email two weeks before the program start date. The following information is general for all day camp summer programs and does not include all program-specific details.

START HERE!

Summer Prep

Summer is just around the corner! Our office is busy making sure your student has an amazing experience this summer. This section contains everything you need to know to prepare for your student’s summer at the University of Mississippi.

A. Required Paperwork

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have not already started or completed STEP 2: Create An Account, please do so as soon as possible. Once you’ve created an account, you’ll be assigned a checklist, then you can login, and upload all necessary documents through the MySchoolApp.

Each student is required to have the following documents on file BEFORE arrival. Students without complete files will not be able to check-in for the program.

Once our office has received and processed the above paperwork, you will receive a “complete file” notification via email.

Activity-Based Liability Waivers

Some program activities may require additional liability waivers as required by partner departments coordinating these activities. Parents/guardians will be notified of any additional waivers and/or paperwork prior to the program start date.

B. Daily Schedule

Each week of day camp will follow the same general daily schedule. Please note that daily activities and locations are fluid. Students will not always be in their assigned classroom as some activities require trips to on-campus facilities.

Our summer team will try our best to accommodate all students’ dietary needs. Our team generally avoids products containing common food allergens. However, in the event we may not be able to accommodate an individual student’s needs, we will reach out to the parent/guardian to request guidance or request the student to pack their own snack.
